      Imagine the sky is like a big blanket made of tiny, tiny pieces called molecules. When the sun shines, it sends out light that is made up of all the colors of the rainbow.

      Now, think of these colors as different sizes of balls. Blue light is like tiny balls, and red light is like big balls. When the light hits the tiny pieces in the sky blanket, the blue balls get bounced around in all directions because they’re just the right size.

      So, when you look up at the sky, you see the blue balls bouncing everywhere, making the sky look blue. The other colors don’t get bounced around as much, so we don’t see them as much in the sky. That’s why the sky is blue
